Here's a few new bands that are getting a lot of shout outs from people who claim to know a lot about music. So I will do my egotistical duty and spread them to the people.
Batting lead off is Estelle featuring Kanye. She's an awesome hip hopper from England and as we all know, thanks to Jared, the British simply make better music than Americans.

Next, is Vampire Weekend who hail from Columbia University and who were declared best upcoming band of 2008 or something along those lines by Spin magazine. I'm going to see them at the Bluebird in Denver on April 1st if anyone else is interested.
